I’ve been wearing Muck brand for years daily for rural property chores. The soles invariably wear through. I took a chance on TruDave and although it’s too soon to rate durability I am impressed with quality and the lugs are much better than Muck boots and they are more reasonable. Very pleased and would recommend.

I got these in the spring mainly because it started raining, and I realized I didn't have a reliable pair of boots that looked waterproof. I got these and was pleasantly surprised by how nice they were. The material was very high-quality. They are 100% waterproof, and I tested them out. I went stomping around and puddles. There was much water. It had rained a lot when these heads came, so it was perfect.My feet were 100% dry, and it was terrific. There is nothing more unpleasant than having wet socks on your feet. Also, since these boots are waterproof and slip, the bottom does have some decent grip. These are also pretty good for winter as well. Granted, they are a little roomy, so you can wear thicker socks to keep your feet warm. They're suitable in snow. I live in Minnesota, so we can get snow even in spring, and when it snows, I have no walking around because my feet are warm. My feet were dry, and I didn't slip, which was great. These are kind of two-and-one because they work for the rain. They work for snow.. get your regular size, but just keep in mind that it will be a roomie, which is good for winter to wear thicker socks. Overall, I'm glad I got these, and they're probably going to be my only pair of boots for a long time.

I haven't worn these boots in the rain yet, but use them for yardwork. They run a tad large, which is good for thick socks. They are really comfy and I love the pop of purple!
